Ricoh Gen5 printhead for HandTop printers

The Ricoh Gen5 head is one of the most popular print heads among our large format plotters such as HandTop. Ricoh Gen5 print heads are characterized by variable drop, speed of printing while maintaining the highest quality.
When printing UV, please pay special attention to the appropriate protection of media against printing, especially media made of glass or glass plexiglass. Otherwise, the UV rays will reflect on the media and then hit the head. This will result in permanent and irreparable damage to the printhead. When replacing the head, we recommend replacing consumables such as dampers, captops, pumps and especially signal tapes. Leaving old signal tapes behind may result in electronic damage to the printhead.
